Last updated: April 21, 2026
Scope
- This policy applies to the mobile application named Forgotten Classics Family Library (the "App"), exactly as it appears on Google Play. If the Play store title differs, the Play listing title controls; update the published policy to match.
- The App is distributed on Google Play by Enlightened Grove, LLC (the "Developer"), as shown on the store listing. If the developer name on Play differs, the Play listing controls; update the published policy to match.
- Android application ID: com.enlightenedgrove.librariesofhope.
- Privacy questions and requests: info@enlightenedgrove.com. Use the same contact information we provide on enlightenedgrove.com and on our Play listing where applicable.
- The App presents content and experiences associated with the Libraries of Hope / Forgotten Classics family library program. Enlightened Grove, LLC is the publisher on Google Play and is responsible for this policy; third-party or partner websites are not the Play store publisher unless they are explicitly identified as such on the listing.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the App and which features are enabled, we may collect or process:
- Account and authentication data when you sign in (for example, through Apple, Google, or Facebook), such as identifiers those providers share with us, basic profile details you authorize, and session tokens needed to keep you signed in.
- Content and usage data such as courses or media you view, download, or search for within the App, and interactions with features like filters or recommendations.
- Device and technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, and general diagnostic information that helps us keep the App working across devices.
- Support communications you send us (for example, email to the address above), including the content of your message and contact details you provide.
- Diagnostics and reliability data such as crash logs, error reports, and basic performance or stability signals. This may include data processed by Google and Android system services as part of running the App on your device, and by our hosting and operations stack when those reports are sent to our systems.
- Purchases and subscriptions you make through Google Play (for example, in-app purchases or subscriptions, if offered). Google Play Billing processes payments; we may receive limited transaction or entitlement information from Google to deliver what you bought. We do not receive or store your full payment card number for those purchases.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features.
- Authenticate you and protect account security.
- Deliver content you request and remember preferences where applicable.
- Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and maintain compatibility with new devices and OS releases.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland users): Where GDPR-style laws apply, we may rely on performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security, improvement, and analytics balanced against your rights), consent where required (for example, certain cookies or optional communications), or legal obligation.
Sharing with third parties
We share information only as needed to run the App, comply with law, or with your direction. Categories of recipients may include:
- Cloud hosting and content delivery providers that store or stream app content and assets.
- Sign-in providers (such as Apple, Google, or Meta) according to their terms and the data you authorize.
- Google when you use the App on Android, including Google Play services and any Google-operated features you enable.
- Service providers we use to host content, run APIs, deliver media, and operate the service (for example, cloud infrastructure providers). They process information only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy.
We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly defined in U.S. state privacy laws.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and security requirements. Retention periods can vary by data type; we delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
To exercise rights or ask questions, contact info@enlightenedgrove.com. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Children and families
The App offers family-friendly literary and educational content; there is no adult-only material in the App itself. Families, including children, may use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian, especially when creating accounts or signing in with a personal profile.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent where that is required by law (including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA). If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a way that does not meet applicable law, contact us at the email above and we will take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children's use of devices and accounts. Organizations (such as schools or libraries) that offer the App in programs for children should ensure their own notices and consents meet applicable student and child privacy rules, including Google Play Families policies where they apply.
International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you use the App from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and device security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law or by app stores.
Other policies
Enlightened Grove does not currently publish a separate company-wide privacy policy on this marketing site. This page governs the App identified above. If we add a broader policy, we will link it here for convenience.
